Has spent the past 10 years, in many facets of Real Estate Development. Malcolm graduated with a B.S. in Regional Development from the University of Arizona. Most recently, has managed the acquisition, entitlement, and disposition of over $135 Million of Real Estate Assets. Specifically, he focuses on existing multi-family product, urban infill land development, and various land entitlements. Within this focus, he underwrites strategic acquisitions, handles land use and regulatory issues, sources equity & debt capital partners, and is involved in the various disposition strategies of each development. He is a board member of the Young Leader’s Group of the Urban Land Institute.

Principal Anna Marie began her real estate career at the early age of 18 and has spent over 25 years as one of the most successful residential real estate broker in the western United States. In the beginning of her career, Anna Marie owned and operated her own real estate company, Casa Nova Realty where she specialized in condo conversions. With a commitment to community, Anna Marie has served on numerous non-profit organizations and boards and was one of the founding members of the Yacht Club (Young Arizonian Charting a Healthier Tomorrow). Anna Marie is involved in investor relationships, residential and commercial development, and oversees sales and marketing efforts. In addition, she currently manages the residential lending arm of the company.

Tracy Mehki - Principal With over 20 years of real estate experience, Tracy brings an extensive background to the Sand and Sea Equity team. Having worked for two leading companies in the institutional apartment industry, Tracy developed an astute eye for asset selection as well as the ability to effectively formulate and execute repositioning strategies. She has a substantial amount of both marketing and construction oversight experience and her perceptive business instincts are vital to her role in taking the lead in running much of the day-to-day operations of the company. Tracy has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Arizona State University and earned the Certified Property Manager® designation in 1987. Tracy is a licensed California Broker.

A Graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara (’00) with a B.A. in Environmental Studies, and a Master of City Planning from San Diego State University (’05). She began her career working for a non-profit environmental firm in Santa Barbara upon completion of her undergraduate work in 2000. The following year she moved to San Diego in pursuit of a graduate degree. For almost four years she worked for the City of Imperial Beach as the Assistant Planner. As part of a two person planning staff, she managed the City’s current planning projects including residential, commercial and mixed-use development permits among other responsibilities. All this, while completing her Master’s program. Since joining Sand and Sea Capital in January of 2006, Alia is responsible for the entitlement of our developments. This includes among other things, the processing of tentative & final map approvals, and the successful issuances of the DRE Public Reports. To accomplish this, she coordinates with engineering, architecture, legal, insurance, title, and design firms, which culminates with the establishment of the HOA. In addition, she is responsible for gathering and analyzing acquisition due diligence items, and works closely with our respective capital partners to provide the necessary financial and project documentation. She is active in the Young Leader’s Group of the Urban Land Institute and is on the board of the Young Professionals Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters San Diego.
